Manual Chain hoist has some limits because the load which it can bear is as per the load taken by human but in this way as well it increases the normal capacity of a human being by reducing the efforts of a human.

So choosing appropriated chain hoist will depend on the type of tasks. If the task needs speed then you have to choose electric hoist. In electric chain hoist as well there are many criteria which needs to be considered because there are different specifications of an electric chain hoist which are selected for better speed of work like motor power, gear box ratio etc.
