The basic need for industries is
machines and to run these machines the most important thing which is required
is electricity. Where this electricity come from? How does it reach to the
industrial area from a power plant? These kinds of questions generally come in

Wire rope: You must have seen huge triangle towers and very long wires.
These wires are used for electricity transmission. These kind of special wires
are known as wire ropes. These
wire ropes are manufactured with such a material that helps in easy transmission
of electricity. This is how electricity reaches to industrial area. It is not
only the one role these magical ropes are playing in industrial sector but
these ropes are also used in mining, cranes, elevators etc. These ropes are
available in different types of material according to their usage. Majorly, the
material used for manufacturing wire ropes is steel. These are known as Steel wire ropes. These wire ropes are generally made of high carbon steel
and stainless steel. That is why steel wire ropes can be used in adverse
conditions as well.
In industrial sector, there are many types of
machinery which are required for the different usages. Some are used for manufacturing
the material, where as some are used for the ease of your lifting heavy loads
and machinery. Now we will talk about the lifting of heavy machines and loads.
There are many small machines which
are used for the lifting purposes. These machines are wire rope sling, chain
pulley block, chain hoist etc.
Wire
rope Sling: The sling is an item of climbing equipment that has a
loop of webbing. These are used for lifting equipment as it is hitched to the
equipment from one side and swaddled to wire rope from another side that is why
known as wire rope slings.
Chain
Pulley block or Chain hoist: Chain pulley block is also known as
Differential pulley which is used to lift the heavy load. This is structured in
such a way that eases out the task of lifting loads. It has got a pulley which
is wrapped by a chain and that chain has a hook at one end. Chain pulley block (manual
chain hoist) is the older version of chain hoist as now a day the chain hoist which
is available is electric chain hoist.
Though all these above mentioned
items are small in size and not very popular but all these are the basic blocks
in industrial sector. Nothing can be done without these items.
